jerusalem festival in brief

The Jerusalem Festival 2009 has an extra flare. It coincides with a full year program and events taking place in Jerusalem in particular and Palestine in general to celebrate Jerusalem and its rich history and culture.

In over fourteen years Yabous Productions through its many programs and events has been carrying its mission to preserve the challenged Palestinian identity and to contribute to social development. More than any of the Yabous Productions events the Jerusalem Festival has come to be expression of its artistic vision. The experience gained in organizing the Festival has given Yabous Productions the state of the art in event management. The Festival has become to be a symbol for reviving the Cultural Scene in our beloved City Jerusalem.

"A commitment to quality ", that's why the Festival has come to be considered one of the most important cultural events in East Jerusalem. It is renowned for being well organised and for its high-quality performances. And thanks to the generosity of the French Consulate General in Jerusalem it has been possible for the Festival to be held, since 1997, at the Tombs of the Kings. The historic site, which dates from 45 A.D., has added a touch of charm to the Festival.
